Shipping Policy

Everything we sell is packed and dispatched from our store in Montréal, Québec. This policy explains where we ship, what it costs, how long it takes, and what happens if something goes wrong along the way.

1. Where We Ship

We ship worldwide — across Canada, to the United States, and internationally.

A small number of destinations may be unavailable because of carrier limitations, trade restrictions, or rules affecting particular products (see Section 8). If we cannot ship to your address, we will contact you and refund your order in full.

All orders are dispatched from A-5696 Av Victoria, Montréal, QC H3W 2P8, Canada.

2. Shipping Costs

Canada and the United States: we provide free standard shipping on all orders, with no minimum purchase required. The price you see is the price you pay.

International destinations: shipping is calculated at checkout based on your destination, and on the weight and dimensions of your order. You will see the exact cost before you confirm and pay.

Where an expedited or express service is available, any additional cost is shown before you complete your order.

3. Order Processing Time

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays, and typically dispatch within 1–3 business days of being placed.

Orders placed on a weekend or a holiday begin processing on the next business day. During sale periods or unusually busy weeks, processing may take slightly longer — we will let you know if that affects your order.

4. Delivery Times

Once your parcel leaves us, delivery time depends on the destination and the carrier’s own service standards. Transit time is in addition to the processing time described above.

Delivery to remote, rural, and northern addresses generally takes longer than to major urban centres. International orders may also be held for customs clearance, which is outside our control and can add several days. Your tracking link is the most accurate source of information once a parcel is in transit.

5. Tracking Your Order

You will receive an email confirmation when your order is placed, and a second email containing tracking information once it ships.

Tracking can take up to 24 hours to become active after you receive the number — this is normal and simply means the carrier has not yet scanned the parcel into its network. On international shipments, tracking may stop updating while the parcel is in transit between countries or awaiting customs clearance, and resume once it reaches the destination network. If your tracking has not updated after two business days domestically, or seven for an international shipment, please contact us.

6. Local Pickup in Montréal

If you are local, you are welcome to collect your order from our Avenue Victoria location instead of having it shipped. Please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the item is on the shelf and arrange a time.

Pickups are available during our opening hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 – 18:00.

7. International Orders — Duties, Taxes & Customs

For all orders shipped outside Canada, you are the importer of record. Any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, GST, or brokerage and handling fees charged by the destination country are your responsibility and are not included in the price you pay us.

These charges are set by the destination country’s authorities, not by FluxExpert. We cannot predict, calculate, or control them, and we have no way of knowing in advance what they will be. Please check your own country’s import rules before ordering if this matters to you.

Parcels may be opened and inspected by customs, and clearance can add days or occasionally weeks to delivery.

If you refuse to pay duties on arrival, or the parcel is abandoned or returned to us, any shipping, return, or destruction costs we incur may be deducted from your refund. Where a parcel is destroyed by customs and not returned to us, no refund is possible.

Customs declarations. We are legally required to declare the accurate description and full value of every shipment. We cannot mark orders as gifts, samples, or under-declare their value, and we will decline any request to do so.

8. Products with Shipping Restrictions

Some of the products we sell are subject to transport or import restrictions:

  • Lithium-ion batteries. Wireless earbuds, headphones, and other battery-containing products are classed as dangerous goods for transport purposes. Carriers restrict how they may be shipped, and some destinations and services will not accept them at all.
  • Regional standards. Power adapters and chargers are supplied with a particular plug type and are certified for particular markets. A product suitable for one region may not be compatible or approved for use in another. It is your responsibility to confirm compatibility before ordering — see our Terms and Conditions.
  • Local import rules. Some countries restrict the import of radio-transmitting devices, including Bluetooth and wireless products, or require local certification.

If an item in your order cannot lawfully be shipped to your destination, we will contact you to arrange a substitution or refund that item.

9. Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We ship to the address exactly as entered, and international addresses in particular must include a correct postal code and a contact telephone number for the carrier and customs.

If you spot a mistake, contact us immediately — we can usually correct it before dispatch. Once a parcel has been handed to the carrier we cannot change its destination. Parcels returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address can be reshipped, but the cost of doing so may be charged to you.

10. Failed Deliveries & Unclaimed Parcels

If nobody is available to receive a parcel, the carrier will leave a notice and hold it for collection for a limited period, or attempt redelivery according to their own policy.

Parcels that go unclaimed and are returned to us are refunded as a return under our Return & Refund Policy, less any shipping, duty, or return costs we incur.

11. Delays Outside Our Control

Once a parcel is with the carrier, delivery is in their hands. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, customs inspections and clearance, carrier backlogs, labour action, or other events beyond our control.

We will always help you chase a delayed parcel — contact us and we will open an enquiry with the carrier on your behalf.

12. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, photograph the outer box and the item before unpacking further, and contact us within 14 days of delivery. Please keep all packaging until the matter is resolved — carriers usually require it to process a claim.

If tracking shows delivered but you have not received your parcel, check with neighbours and around your property first, then contact us. We will open a trace with the carrier. Verified lost or damaged parcels are replaced or refunded in full, including shipping. Please note that carriers will not normally declare an international parcel lost until a minimum tracing period has passed, which varies by carrier and destination.

13. International Returns

Returns from outside Canada follow our Return & Refund Policy, with two differences: return shipping is arranged and paid by you unless the item is defective or we made an error, and duties and taxes you paid to your own country are not refundable by us. You may be able to reclaim them directly from your customs authority — many countries allow this on returned goods.

14. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss passes to you once we hand your parcel to the carrier, subject to applicable consumer protection laws and to Section 12 above.
